This account is being shut down due to lack in interest in trying to keep it active. I plan on, at some point, creating a new account for my photography - but not until I get it all together and uploadable. I do not currently have internet at my every whim, so I find it unneccessary to keep this thing going.

I am pregnant, due 21 April 2009 (that is next month).
Hopefully by then I will have a few things ready for uploading. I just find that it is almost pointless for me to continue to try to sell my work, try to get my name out there, when no one notices my effort. Call me selfish or whatever, but I want recognition - what artist that throws their works to the dogs that are Society does not? If we put it out there for the public to view, we want comments, we want recognition. And yes, sad to say, some of us actually need money. I really want to make a living off of my firey passions - art and writing - but I do not see that happening when I cannot seem to get noticed.

I feel as though I am ranting to no one, about nothing important. I am in a bad fiscal situation right now, and it is taking all I have to keep my mind held fast together. Most people have not been homeless - most single mothers are not threatened with the impending possibility of being homeless, and getting their one and only child snatched from their hands. It is not that I am not willing to work, it is that not many places in the shit hole of a town where I live will fire a pregnant woman, nor a new mother. They know we have trouble with a lot of things... and they dont want to hire someone that they may not be able to count on.

So if this makes ANY sense, this is why I am shutting this account down. I have seriously thought about giving up art, but it always comes back to haunt me. So I plan on continuing as much as possible with my photography. I hope to be back soon. But I see almost NO point in keeping a dA account if it just ends up to be a time waster.

I love dA. It is such an amazing place for artists to get together and talk, show their work, and help other artists... but it really doesnt help the REAL starving artists out there.
